Alejandro Ferris Wallis

Passionate Leader driven by core values.

An F&B innovator and wine psychic, currently is Director for the Academia de Sommelier de Puerto Rico and member of the Asociación de Sommelier Profesionales de Puerto Rico. Head of Bartending Program and Food Operations for 13 NUC University Campuses. Prior to the devastation of Hurricane María headed multiple Food Manufacturing Plants with Puerto Rico Supplies Group after having been general manager for Caparra Country Club. All these have been the result of a new life, since having exited his home country of Venezuela due to government interventions in all aspects of life. While there, he was owner and editor-in -chief of Revista Cata. Owner of Ferris Packing Products in the food industry and his beginnings in this beautiful and savory world of beverages were with Seagram in the year 1992. Later entered the formal sommelier world through the Venezuela Sommelier Academy, mentored by Isabel Mijares, Leo D’Dazzio and Dayana Medina.
