Founded in 1969, the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (ASI) is the world's leading organization for sommelier excellence, representing national sommelier associations across six continents. The ASI Certification 1 exam validates the foundational knowledge and skills required of an entry-level sommelier, including wine knowledge, service standards, tasting techniques, and food pairing.
