BUSA is now accepting registrations for sommeliers wishing to compete in the U.S. competition. There will be three phases to the 2027 effort to choose the top two competitors. These two finalists will be sent to the ASI (Association de la Sommellerie Internationale) Americas Competition to compete alongside other top sommeliers of fifteen Western Hemisphere countries.
February 15-16, 2027 – Initial (online)
August 2-3, 2027 - Semi-Finals Competition (online)
Final Live Competition (Hermann, MO).
First Round and Semi-finals competitions will require a registration fee; at the finals, competitors will be hosted and travel expenses will be covered by BUSA.
